A fifteen-year-old youth has been punished to life behind bars with a lowest term of 16-year period for the homicide of another student Harvey Willgoose during a lunch period.
The perpetrator pierced the deceased, also aged fifteen, through the heart with a weapon at the city's learning facility in the second month.
Mrs Justice Naomi Ellenbogen removed the name suppression limitation on the defendant during sentencing at Sheffield Crown Court.
The victim's mother said she felt "like a large load has been taken off my person" following the judgment.
Both youths had previously quarreled over social media in the time before the fatal incident.
Caroline Willgoose remarked she was glad the minimum term had been established exceeding the statutory minimum of 15 years.
"My parent has been undergoing medical treatment through the court proceedings and he just couldn't continue any more," she expressed.
Prior to the murder on 3 February, Khan and the deceased had adopted conflicting sides in a different dispute between additional schoolmates.
Security footage from the occasion of the incident displayed the killer approaching the deceased in the school yard shortly after noon.

Throughout the trial, the accused testified he had not intended to murder the deceased or cause him serious harm, claiming he could not recollect what had happened.
The prosecution maintained that he had "intended to show he was hard" and "understood exactly what he was doing".
"You were the aggressor and... you behaved in pain and fury at what you regarded to be his disloyalty of your friendship," declared the judge during sentencing.
All Saints Catholic High School published a message stating that the student was "dearly missed every daytime by the whole educational community".
